Katalyst has contributed to a new report by Cornell University ILR School’s Global Labor Institute and staff from Schroders.  Building in part on our recent Trade Realities paper we were pleased to provide policy analysis & data insights in support of this important research project.

The report contains a stark, evidence-based warning of the risks to garment workers, companies and economies posed by heat, humidity & flooding in the near future. It makes the case for private and public investment in climate adaptation to protect people and industries, and points to the need for a much stronger regulatory framework up and down supply chains in response to emerging climate change risks.
